Claire is a recent graduate of Healing Spirits Massage Therapy School in Boulder, Co. Her passion for massage therapy comes from her own experience of healing through bodywork. She is passionate about the maintenance of one’s self and believes that massage therapy contributes to a person’s overall well-being for the mind, body and spirit.
Claire's massage style combines a mixture of Swedish, deep tissue and myofascial release techniques to provide a relaxing and beneficial massage. She is trained in Reflexology, Sports massage and Specific Pain and Injury Treatment. In addition to massage she is a Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hr and likes to combine her knowledge of yoga and massage for helping and healing her clients.
Claire was trained in Anusara-inspired Vinyasa yoga under Joe Palese in 2015. She earned her 200 hour RYT certification along with certifications in Yin Yoga, Grounded Kids and Yoga Trapeze. As a yoga instructor, Claire aspires to help her students enjoy the many benefits of yoga for the body, mind and spirit by focusing her instruction on body alignment, body awareness, mindful movement, and breathwork. Her classes are a balance of flowy sequences to warm the body, powerful holds for strength, deep stretches for release and, most important, a long Savasana for rest and relaxation.
Claire is grateful for the opportunity to share her love for yoga with students and to be a small part of their infinite yogic journey. When not teaching, she enjoys rock climbing, running and handing out with her two kids and two dogs.
