Licensed Massage Therapist

Decatur Healing Arts aims to provide the Decatur Community with a full array of complementary health practices including Massage Therapy. In support of our breadth of services, we seek Massage Therapists with skill in a variety of massage therapy modalities including (but not limited to): pregnancy, deep tissue, neuromuscular, Shiatsu, Swedish, Thai and Tuina.

Massage Therapist Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have a current license in the state of Georgia to practice Massage Therapy.

  • Must have completed 800 hours of massage therapy courses and be current with continuing education.

  • Must have current massage therapy liability insurance

  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Must be prompt, tidy, and respectful

  • Must have excellent time management skills

  • Must have demonstrated customer service skills

  • Requires sufficient technology skills to manage appointments through the Mindbody App.

Massage Therapist Compensation

Decatur Healing Arts (DHA) offers a competitive, percentage-based payment structure for our independent contractors. Therapists are paid on the 1st and 16th of each month.

DHA Requirements of Therapists

· All DHA appointments are managed through our Mindbody online portal

· Therapist provides their own lotions/oils/therapy supplies

· Therapist provides their own music

Schedule Needed: Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays
