Courtney Salamone

Board Certified Acupuncturist L.Ac. # 529

Courtney comes to you NCCAOM board certified as an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist with a Masters in Oriental Medicine. Having practiced Chinese medicine for almost twenty years in Florida and North Carolina, Courtney is excited to bring her services to Decatur Healing Arts and call Georgia home.

Years before she started her journey in Chinese medicine Courtney began her studies in energy medicine. A lifelong intuitive, Courtney found energy healing familiar, fascinating and healing on a whole different level.

Courtney has found when she can hold herself in that space of communion with the Divine and using acupuncture with the highest intention for the client, in this space there is great change that can occur and the client's body is able to unblock, unwind and circulate - deficiency and excess can be brought to homeostasis while relieving physical, mental and emotional pain.

Courtney is also a devoted wife and mother. She and husband co-founded the non-profit Stories Lived.org, https://www.storieslived.org/, where they seek to connect humanity on a global scale and to inspire individuals to greater heights through the power of visual story telling. In Courtney's free time you can find her getting out into nature, taking a workshop, studying the Edgar Cayce readings or resting in the Oneness she finds in meditation.

“Courtney was the best acupuncturist I've ever had. Very informative, patient, gentle and knowledgeable. Also, I often enjoy gong meditation classes done by Eve.”

-Ronda

“First, the variety of offering. Second, the mindset of the people I talked to and third, the thoroughness of the service I received. I felt very well understood and taken care of :)” - Heidi

“Acupuncture from Courtney has changed my life!”

- Casey

Courtney was excellent at greeting a client and putting them at ease. She had a broad knowledge of acupuncture points and knew just where to needle to address the client's issues and bring relief. In one case where a needle was causing discomfort, she immediately found another "distal" point that addressed the issue without any pain. She could read so much not only from wrist pulses but wherever she touched skin. Her expertise was matched by her care and compassion. I look forward to seeing her again.”
