Maria is a holistic wellness advocate and Reiki Certified. She is a firm believer that complete health is the harmony and balance of the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health. Even though a lifelong intuitive, Maria believed her journey began with energy healing. She discovered her interest grew in healing through herbs, energy, sound and now through spirituality.

As a child, Maria was inspired by Eat, Pray, Love where she sought out to visit Bali in November of 2019. She felt this visit awakened her passion to pursue a balanced lifestyle she was called to live. Shortly after just having her first born and working a high stressful analyst position, During the pandemic, Maria followed her passion by opening her own online wellness boutique, Opulent Essence. Her mission is to educate the community of other healing modalities and tools to amplify intentional living in people’s everyday lifestyle. Like DHA she is also passionate about alternative approaches to healing and values the community, core beliefs, and practices utilized at DHA.
